Newborn setting: for newborn babies the contoured snap-in liner can be removed from the diaper to provide a better fit for the newborn without the bulkiness. For added comfort and dryness we recommend rolling the leg bands in toward the center of the diaper creating a secure cotton wall barrier that will hold the breast fed stools in. For really small babies, use the contoured snap-in-liner inside a newborn cover!

Crawler setting: You can use the diaper with or without the snap-in-liner. At this age you may prefer to use the diaper by itself during the day and adding the snap-in-liner for naps and night time use.

Toddler setting: Use diaper with the snap-in liner. It is absorbent enough for the heaviest wetting toddlers. If your toddler sleeps more than 10 hours at a time you many want to use an extra diaper doubler to make sure your baby will wake up dry.
