Wool Covers

Wool makes great diaper covers! It is very breathable yet highly water resistant due to its natural lanolin content. Air dry in between uses and handwash every few weeks with wool wash unless soiled (then wash right away). Treat once a month with lanolin to keep your wool smelling fresh and working well.
Wool for hot weather? YES! Wool is breathable and allows hot air to escape, not build up inside the diaper like with a polyester coated cover.

How many? Since covers can usually be re-used, figure 4-6 per child. In the newborn & small sizes, allow for extra covers, 6-8 is a good range.
