These are the traditional cotton diapers that are folded and placed in a waterproof cover. An economical choice, prefold diapers last for years and have a large size range. Wash new prefolds 4-6 times to reach optimal softness and absorbency.

TRIMMED PREFOLDS NOW AVAILABLE! Unbleached Indian prefolds trimmed & serged 4" shorter for less bulk and a better fit on younger babies.

How many? Figure 1 dozen per child per day in the first six months. So 24 diapers (any combination) will mean washing every other day. Older babies may only need 6-8 per day.
