These fun & functional diapers are the absorbent part of a 2-part system. Fitted diapers are used instead of prefold diapers. Fitted diapers are shaped to be narrower through the crotch for less bulk and usually include attached fasteners to ease of use. Fitted diapers usually have less leakage than prefolds because of the elastic around the waist and legs. Not waterproof, so add a diaper cover for full protection.

How many? Figure 1 dozen per child per day in the first six months. So 24 diapers (any combination) will mean washing every other day. Later, you may only need 6-8 per day.

Fitted diapers were the best system for my daughter, the most leakproof, most versatile, most absorbent. If you're not happy with your current diaper system, try fitted diapers.
